Can you hear it?
She’s calling you.
And she wants to be set free.
She is the Woman in the Water and you have heard her song before. It has called and cradled you; it is your mother’s heartbeat before you were even brought forth into this world. She implores you to seek out the murky depths of your spirit, she protects you as you dive and drift through your own shadow.
She is the wild woman; she is feared. She is the unheeded message in a nightmare and the forgotten song in a dream.
She is reaching out, breaking through the surface of our deepest consciousness, fingers pale and dripping.
She commands us to tell her story.
